Porsche 914 1.8 Flat 4 USA SCCA Race Car Track Car Signal Orange VERY RARE
A unique opportunity to purchase a Porsche 914 Outlaw air cooled Race Car imported from California.
The original Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) race book comes with the car.
The race history on this car dates back to 1991 when it was raced in the Time Trail Series in the San Francisco Golden Gate region of Porsche Club America. It was then raced at the 32nd Monterey Historic in August 2005, The Rolex Vintage Festival at Lime Rock Park in September 2005 and the 35th Monterey Historic in August 2008.
The car was then put into storage for several years before being sold to a Mr Marshall in San Juan Bautista, California in September 2014. He then sold the car in Monterey, California in late 2019. It was also on screen in the Season 15 Episode 4 of Chasing Classic Cars with Wayne Carini first broadcast 5th March 2020.
The car was then imported to the UK by a Cheshire based race car builder. Due to many other project cars the 914 was not used and sat in the back corner of a dry, heated workshop until I was made aware of it in April 2022.
The car was built in October 1974 for the 1975 model year.
It is a matching numbers car with Chassis No: 4752904463 and Engine No: EC040136
Original USA License Plate was 7CND890
The original colour was Zambezi / Forest Green (this can still be seen in the engine bay) the car has been repainted in California to a high standard in Porsche Signal Orange - the period correct colour that Porsche raced the 914 in.

Please be aware this is a race car and not street legal on these tyres, the car starts with a button, does not have any keys and cannot be locked. its also pretty loud! ;)
I have basically spent the last 3 months getting the car back in fantastic condition and driving as a period race car should. I’ve recently bought another car, so with such little use, sadly its time to sell the 914 race car.
