Peugeot 205 Rallye - Express Yellow - VERY RARE - BARN FIND - Fully Recommissioned Last 12 Months – Freshly Rebuilt Engine
HISTORY:
I searched for a 205 Rallye after seeing how much Chris Harris (Top Gear) loves his white euro spec one. I purchased this Rallye in May 2021 from an older gentleman in Surrey, he had the car since 2007 and had it in storage ever since the day he drove it home from his local village. He purchased it from a local lady who had owned the car for 10 years. Unfortunately, due to poor health he decided to sell the car to me as a none running barn/garage find.
Since purchasing we have been through every aspect of the car and done extensive recommissioning works as detailed below. It’s now back on the road for the first time since 2007!
Peugeot sold 750 of the 205 Rallye in 1992/93 - 500 in Alpine White and 250 in Express Yellow. There are currently 171 left in the UK with just 37 including this one on the road, making this Rallye VERY RARE!

Please be aware the original interior cloth is ripped and torn as per all 205 Rallye’s but I have a contact in France who can supply new seat cloth. The body is very solid with no rust holes, the car has patina and marks in the paint as you would expect on a 30 year old car.
I have basically spent the last 12 months getting the car back in fantastic condition and full working order after buying it as a none running barn find, in that time I have only covered 200 miles in the car, I’ve recently bought another car, so with such little use, sadly it’s time to sell the 205 Rallye.
